Five Months Into 2026: What Your Support Made Possible

People across America struggle to afford their medications every day. At All Together Pharmacy Charity, we work to change that — one prescription at a time. Five months into 2026, we want to share a snapshot of what your support has done.
The first five months in numbers
From January through May 2026, our program filled 243 prescriptions, covering 88 different medications at a total cost of $3,499.44. That's an average of $14.40 per prescription — small dollars doing real work.
Month by month:
January: 54 prescriptions — $675.56
February: 37 prescriptions — $58

2.18
March: 55 prescriptions — $917.92
April: 49 prescriptions — $793.33
May: 48 prescriptions — $530.45
What this looks like for a patient
Behind every number is a person managing real health conditions. The medications we've helped cover this year span the full range of what our patients need every day — blood pressure and cholesterol drugs like lisinopril, metoprolol, and atorvastatin; mental health support including escitalopram, sertraline, mirtazapine, and trazodone; therapies for diabetes, COPD, acid reflux, chronic pain, and seizure disorders. Many of our patients are filling six, eight, or even a dozen prescriptions each month just to stay healthy.
For someone on a tight budget, even a small copay can be the moment a prescription gets left at the counter. Skipping medication leads to ER visits, hospital stays, and outcomes nobody wants — at far greater cost to the patient and to the healthcare system. Helping our patients stay on their treatment plans is the most practical kind of preventive care there is.
How your dollars go to work
We know it is hard to ask for help, so we make it simple. We may pay a patient's local pharmacy for part or all of a prescription, dispense donated medication directly, find a manufacturer coupon, or work with the patient's doctor on a lower-cost alternative. Whatever path makes the most sense, that's the one we take.
Because we partner with local pharmacies on low-cost generics and rely on donated medication where we can, a $100 gift covers about seven prescriptions, and a $500 gift covers a patient's medications for nearly a full month. There is no large overhead in between — your contribution goes to the pharmacy counter.
How you can help
Every prescription filled is a quiet promise kept: that no one in our community has to choose between their medication and the rest of their life. If you'd like to be part of the next five months, you can donate, share our story with someone who may need us, or volunteer your time. Pharmacies and donors who'd like to register medications or join our network can also start at AllTogetherRx.org.
Thank you for standing with our patients.
